From fourteen actions in fourteen sites in these locales: Maison Dora Maar Ménerbes/ Provence, the Luberon Region/FR, greater Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur/FR and in Lugnez /Lumbrein/ Graubünden/CH.
In each site, Themann presents a text for about ten seconds at a time by holding the paper up for display via the indrawn breath. He catches the paper on the exhaling breath then places another text to his lips and repeats the breathing gestureof display.
Up to forty different texts are displayed in each site and are held up in a continuous cycle for a ‘chance audience’. Sites range across private gardens, historic homes and commercial quarries, to remote wilderness areas and sites in view of country highways.
